The Rev. John Caleb Collins (Quidera), MDiv. – Vicar

With generations of family from Arizona and Sonora, Fr. John Caleb Collins (Quidera) loves the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of the Grand Canyon state and our neighbors. His tatarabuelos moved to Bisbee from Sonora in about 1895. He was raised Lutheran (ELCA) and was confirmed (chrismated) Greek Orthodox in 2007. In 2012, he was called to and joined The Episcopal Church. He holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary; he also earned a Master of Liberal Studies, a Master of Arts in Sociology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Spanish and Romanian from Arizona State University. Fr. John Caleb served as a Chaplain Resident at Banner Health where he completed three units in Clinical Pastoral Education, and as Deacon and Assisting Priest at St. Mark’s Church in Mesa.
Fr. John Caleb loves movies, especially science-fiction and adventure films, reading books, and learning new languages. Besides growing up in Arizona, he has lived in Germany and studied abroad in Spain at la Universidad de Granda and at Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai in Romania.

Ms. Jacquie Phagan has been a member of St. Stephen’s Church in Douglas since she was 25 years old and has worked for St. John’s Church in Bisbee since 2013. Having worked for 27 years at Cochise College in the Accounting Department, she brings a wealth of experience in the private sector and the church as Church Administrator and Treasurer.

Sra. Elsa Hernandez

With years of experience in the private sector, Elsa serves as the director and manager of custodial services. Her talents and careful attention to detail keep our congregational buildings in a brilliant condition that is inviting and provides a clean and safe space for our congregants and our ministries. In addition to serving as our Director, she also serves the kingdom of God as a member of the Bishop’s Committee at St. Stephen’s Church in Douglas.
